Team Bios
Paul Sherratt CPGA, Head Professional,
Paul has been at Rideau View Golf Club for 28 years. During this time he is the only two-time winner of the Canadian Club Professional of the Year (1990 & 1995). He was voted Teacher of the Year in 1999 and has been an Assistant Coach of the RCGA National Team Program since 2002. Along with being named Junior Leader of the Year in 2003 Paul is affiliated with the CLGA as a Regional Coach.
Matt Robinson CPGA,
Associate Professional,
Matt, too, has a long history at Rideau View, first joining as a sponsored junior, then, turning professional in 1993. He has been the Associate Professional since 1997. Matt is the Head Coach for the Ottawa Girls Club and is a Regional Coach for Golf Quebec/Ottawa District Player Development. Continuing a rich tradition Matt was named Junior Leader of the Year in 2007 by the CPGA Ottawa Zone.
Jeff Scott CPGA
Jeff begins his 8th year at Rideau View in 2008. He has just completed his 3rd year at Durham College where he is enrolled in the Professional Golf Management Program. Jeff is a gifted athlete at the collegiate level and brings wonderful demeanor and enthusiasm to the lesson tee.
Tim Sewter CPGA
Tim is in his 5th year at Rideau View. He is the Assistant Coach for the Ottawa Girls Club and is a fine player in his own right. He is a Certified Ping Clubfitter and puts his students at ease with his calm and easy going personality.
